JOHN P. WOLL
John P. Woll, 81, Plymouth county native and lifelong resident, died Nov. 15, 1985, at Floyd Valley hospital in LeMars after a lengthy illness. He was the last survivor of his immediate family.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic church at Ellendale, with a mass celebrated by Rev. Dennis Sefcik, pastor, Rev. Dale George and Rev. Edward Hoffmann of Rock Rapids. Burial was in the Calvary Cemetery in LeMars, under the direction of Luedtke-Feuerstein funeral home.

Mr. Woll was born Feb. 16, 1904, in Johnson township to Emil and Caroline Barinsky Woll. He farmed all his life on the family farm in Johnson township, retiring in 1972. He moved to LeMars in 1976. He was a lifelong member of St. Joseph’s parish, Ellendale, rural Merrill.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Dolores Woll, LeMars; a niece, Sister Lea Woll, S.L.W., Chicago; five nephews, Larry Woll of LeMars, Paul Woll of Worthington, Dennis Woll of Council Bluffs, Edward Woll of Omaha and Mark Woll of Santa Rosa, Calif.; four great-nieces and three great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Joseph and Leonard and one sister, Marie.
