MRS. MACE DIES HERE LAST WEEK
Mrs. Ervin E. Mace, 37, of Hawarden died September 5 at the Hawarden hospital following a long illness. Her funeral was held last Saturday at Dow Funeral Chapel with Rev. James Sandvik officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Akron.
Mrs. Richard Hillrichs was organist and Mrs. Robert Grossenheider, Jr., was soloist. Casket bearers were James Mace, Willis Mace, Joseph Dvorak, Alfred Tenbursh, Raymond Mace, and Clarence Mace.
Mrs. Mace was born Margaret E. Cook on August 31, 1931, in Greenwood, South Dakota. She was married December 10, 1947, in Vermillion.
Besides the widower, survivors include four sons, Gerald and Allen of Hayfield, Minnesota, and Edward and Donald of Hawarden; a daughter, Mary, of Hawarden; a brother, Clifford Cook of Yankton, and a sister, Mrs. Lena Thornton of Yankton.
