Young Mother Taken By Death
Joyce Rensink Dies in California

Relatives in Seney were notified last week of the death of Joyce McArthur Rensink, in Long Beach, California, May 26, following the birth of a son May 16. Mrs. Rensink was born in Sheldon, and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Miles McArthur of that place.

She lived all her life in Sheldon, and was married to John Rensink and last year went to California with her husband, who is employed in defense work in a shipbuilding yard.

She leaves her husband, John Rensink, an infant son, Miles Carl, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Miles McArthur, of Sheldon, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan McArthur of Sheldon, formerly of Seney, a sister, Mrs. Arthur Douma, of Lake Park and Mrs. Rensink's fother (sic--mother), Mrs. C. A. Samuelson and Dr. Samuelson of Sheldon. Relatives expected that the body would be taken to Sheldon for burial.

Funeral services for Mrs. John Rensink were held last Wednesday afternoon at the Dr. C. A. Samuelson home and at the Methodist church with the Rev. Corwin Taylor officiating.
