IOWA PIONEER DIES

George Diediker Lived m Plymouth County 35 Years George Diediker, 62 years old, a resident of northwest Iowa for the last forty-five years, died of tuberculosis at his home, 4330 Central Ave., Leeds, Saturday.

Mr. Diediker was born in Switzerland and came to Plymouth county when he was 17 years old. He removed to Sioux City, ten years ago.

Mr. Diediker is survived by four sons, Emil, John, Herman, and George; two daughters, Mrs. Rose Olson and Mrs. Lizzie Burr; three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Schweppe, Mrs. John Herman and Mrs. Pfall, all of Sioux City; two brothers, John Diediker, of Kansas City, and Samuel Diediker, of Le Mars.

The funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the residence, the services being conducted by Rev. G. A. Mathaides, pastor of St. Paul's German Lutheran church. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Diediker, of this city, went to attend the funeral.
