William Danne Dies Suddenly
William Fredrick Danne died suddenly at the Sacred Heart hospital last Sunday evening.
Burial services are set for 2 p. m. Thursday, July 20, at the Hildreth Memorial Evangelical United Brethren church with the Rev. K. I. Clawson officiating. Burial will be in the LeMars city cemetery.
Mr. Danne was born April 15, 1883, in Germany. He came to the United States at the age of one year and settled with his parents, Ludwig and Amelia Danne, in Plymouth county. He moved to Nebraska as a young man and lived there a few years before returning to Plymouth County to farm. He retired to live in LeMars in 1941.
Mr. Danne married Emma Louise Kemnitz November 23, 1905, in Stanton township.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Lucille Ellwein of Sioux Falls, S. D.; two granddaughters, a grandson; two brothers, Charles and Gus both of LeMars and two sisters, Mrs. George Burleigh of Gordon, Nebr., and Mrs. William Kemnitz of Sycamore, 111.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
