OBITUARY OF F. W. KEHRBERG

Fredrick William Kehrberg was born in Soldin, Germany, January 16, 1853. He passed away in his home in Kingsley, March 19, 1920, at the age of 67 years, 2 months and 3 days.

Mr. Kehrberg came to the United States in the year 1858 with his parents, being but a small child. The family made their home in Allamakee county, Iowa, where he grew up into manhood, lie was united in marriage to Miss Bertha Kehrberg and lived on the old homestead until the year 1893 when they came to Plymouth county to live. They spent one year in Merrill, moving from there to their country home in Union township, where they resided until three years ago when they purchased the present home and moved to Kingsley.

To this union were born ten children. Two died in infancy. Those living are: Mrs. Bleeker, of Merrill, Mrs. Kelner of St. Francis, Kansas; Mrs. Jno. Sternberg and Julius, of Kingsley Mrs. Geo. Jerman, Canastota, S. D.; and the three younger sons at home, Ferdinand, Herman and Marcus.

He leaves also to mourn their loss a fond wife and three brothers, Herman C. Kehrberg, of Pasadena, Calif., J. F. Kehrberg, of Sioux City, F. O. Kehrberg, of Sheldon; four sisters, Mrs. Herman Henney, of Wayne, Neb., Mrs. Chas. Flaugher of LeMars, Mrs. F. S. Munn, of Salt Lake City, Utah; and Mrs. Geo. Wernli, of Los Angeles, Calif. There are sixteen grandchildren.

Early in his young life Mr. Kehrberg united with the German Evangelical church and remained in that communion until death.

The funeral service was held in the Congregational church of Kingsley on Wednesday, March 24, at the hour of 1:30 p. m. Rev. Jos. Steele, of Sioux City, conducted the service. The body was laid to rest in the Kingsley Cemetery. The many friends of the family extend their heartfelt sympathy to | the heartbroken wife and children.
