Mrs. Louise Steele Rites on Tuesday
Dies After a Year-Long Illness in Colorado; Burial in Cemetery Here

Funeral services for Mrs. Louise L. Steele,40, of Wheatridge, Colo., a former Remsen resident who died unexpectedly Friday night in her Wheatridge home, were held at St Mary's Catholic church here Tuesday morning at 9:30

Burial was ln St. Mary's Cemetery under the direction of the Fisch funeral home. Rev George Theobald, the pastor, officiated.

Mrs. Steele, the former Louise Waldschmitt, daughter of John and the late Bernadine Waldschmitt, was born April 21, 1915. She attended school here at St Mary's. On February 14, 1941, she was united in marriage to Leon Steele at St. Mary's church here. They had lived in Colorado for the past years
Survivors

Survivors besides the widower and father are four children, Jeanine 10, Patricia 8, Roger 5. and Janice 3; two sisters; Mrs. Al (Ottilia) Diekmann of Long Beach, Calif and Mrs. John (Mary) Freking of Remsen, three brothers, John Jr. of Le Mars and Paul and Ray of Remsen.

She was preceded in death by her mother, two brothers Michael and Louis, her twin.

Pallbearers

Pallbearers were Myrle Truesdale. Don Zenk. Paul Wingert. Isidore Harpenau, Greg Freking, and Marvin Kolbeck.
