Mrs. Carl Tobolt
Mrs. Carl Tobolt, 78. Hemet, Calif, a former Le Mars resident, died unexpectedly March 31, 1974, at her home at Hemet.
Minnie Sophie Berg was born Sept. 28, 1895, in Le Mars. She was married June 23, 1917, to Carl Tobolt in Le Mars. The couple moved to California in 1940 where they had since resided. Mr. Tobolt died in 1968.
Funeral services were held Thursday (April 4, 1974) at St. John Lutheran Church in Hemet. Burial was in Fair Haven memorial park, Santa Ana, Calif.
Attending funeral service s from this area were Mr. and Mrs. Louis Plueger, who were visiting in California and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Schoenrock.
Survivors is a son, Waldon of Hemet, Calif, two daughters, Mrs. Ervin (Ethel) Miller of Anaheim and Mrs. Ed (Norma) Langhofer of Orange, Calif.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Martin Toben and Rose Berg, both of Akron, Mrs. Ben Marienau of Hawarden and Mrs. Louis Plueger, LeMars s and a brother Herman Berg, Sacramento.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and two grandsons.
