Amanda Harrison

Services for Amanda Josephine Harrison, 95, Storm Lake, were held Nov. 3 at St. Marks Lutheran Church, Storm Lake. Rev. V. Wenger officiated. Burial was in Buena Vista Memorial Cemetery, Storm Lake. Sliefert Funeral Home, Storm Lake, was in charge of arrangements.

She died Oct. 31, 1989, in Storm Lake. She was born June 23, 1894, to Henry F. and Elizabeth (Klinge) Becker in Sioux County. She received her education in Sioux County. She married Merrill M. Harrison on June 6, 1923, in LeMars. She was a member of St Marks Lutheran Church, Storm Lake.

Survivors include one son — Dean J. Harrison, Bloomington, Minn.; one daughter — Marilyn B. Clough, Denver, Colo.; one sister — Norma Becker, LeMars; six grandchildren — Steven Clough, and wife, Cathy; Cathy (Mrs. Bob) Roark; Michael Clough, and wife, Adriene; Todd Clough, and wife, Melissa; Tamara (Mrs. Steve) Clawson; and Jennifer Harrison; and four great-grandchildren — Colin McDaniel, Benjamin Clough, Sidney Clough and Matthew Clawson.
