Funeral services for William G. Baack, 47, of Rock Rapids, who died Tuesday in a Sioux Falls hospital was at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Immanuel Lutheran church at Rock Rapids. Burial was in Memorial park cemetery in Sioux City under direction of the Jongewaard funeral home of Rock Rapids.

Mr. Baack farmed in the Bronson, Akron and Le Mars, Iowa, vicinities for 12 years before moving to Rock Rapids three years ago. Survivors include the widow, Anna; four sons, Edwin of Ames, Iowa, Melvin, serving with the air force in France, and Gary and Ronald, both at home; one grandchild: his mother, Mrs. Marie Baack of Le Mars; two brothers. Louis of Oskaloosa, la., and Norville of Rochester, Minn., and five sisters, Mrs. Minnie Boone of Le Mars; Mrs. Marie Frerichs of Le Mars; Mrs. Ellen Jordan of Wheaton, 111.; Mrs. Sophie Rush of Moville. and Mrs. Leona Pike, residing in California.
