Henry F. Ludwig, 93, who had resided at Colonial Manor in Kingsley, died Saturday night, at the nursing home after a long illness. He had previously lived in Sioux City

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Calvary Lutheran church in Sioux City with Rev. Donald Wuertz, pastor of Trinity Lutheran church in Hinton, Iowa, officiating. Burial in Rademacher cemetery in Hunger ford township of Plymouth county, Iowa will be under the direction of the Anderson-Perasso funeral home.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Lamonte Hageman, Jim Anderson, Darwin Roberts, Don Waring, Carlie. Pittman and Dennis Newberg.

Mr. Ludwig was born on Feb. 6, 1882 in Plymouth county and married Marie H. Steffens on Feb. 12, 1908 at Hinton. He farmed in Woodbury county for many years and moved to Sioux City in 1945. He was employed by Johnson Biscuit Co. for a few years before retiring in 1949. He had lived in Kingsley for the past three years. His wife died there on Aug. 8,1974. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran church in Sioux City.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Edmund (Erma) Anderson and Mrs. Marvin (Mildred) Hageman, both of Hinton, and Mrs. Marion (Irene) Anderson of Lawton; two sisters Mrs. Clara Muecke of Hinton and Mrs. Emma Bradstreet of Sioux City; six grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
