Pearl A. Manz

Pearl A. Manz, 88, of Sioux City died Friday, Jan. 7, 2000, at the Brentwood Good Samaritan Center in Le Mars, Iowa.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Merrill United Methodist Church in Merrill, Iowa, with the Rev. Sue Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Monday at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars, with a 7 p.m. prayer service.

Miss Manz taught elementary school in Moville and Akron, Iowa, and Sioux City for 43 years.

Survivors include a sister, Hilda Jans of Le Mars; a niece and her husband, Carol and Tim Weidauer of Le Mars; two great nephews, and a great niece.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Kehrberg, and a nephew, Stephen Jans.
