Audrey L. Pollock, 95 of Akron, Iowa, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2017 at the Akron Care Center.
June 16, 2017 at Riverside Cemetery in Akron. Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 p.m., Thursday, June 15, 2017 at the Rexwinkel-Schroeder Funeral Home in Akron.

Audrey Loux was born on August 7, 1921 near
Graveside Service will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, Scotland, South Dakota. She graduated high school in 1939 and then attended Southern State Teacher’s College in Springfield, South Dakota. She taught school for 8 years. She lived in Sioux City, Iowa, Chicago, Illinois, and Kenosha, Wisconsin working primarily as a secretary. She was married to Randall C. Pollock on October 18, 1963 in Sioux City, Iowa. They made their home in Kenosha until moving to Akron in 1991.

She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, Vesper Chapter, and Eastern Star in Akron. She was an avid reader.

Audrey is survived by her sons: Jeffrey Loux, Kevin (Mary) Pollock; daughter, Mary (Curt) Durkee; 9 grandchildren: Shae Hardin, Joshua Loux, Jack Roth III, Joshua Pollock, Jasmin Pollock, Kyle (Stephanie) Pollock, Dan Wade, Tim (Amber) Wade, and Matthew Durkee; 16 great grandchildren; and her nephews: Sam Lovell and Clarence (Jr) Lovell and their families.

Audrey is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Randall Pollock (February 25, 2011); son, Shawn Pollock (November 25, 2015); granddaughter, Loretta Pollock (June 9, 2013); and sister, Actea (Clarence) Lovell.
