Nancy Lahrs
Nancy Ann Lahrs, eight-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Lahrs, died Saturday night at a hospital after suffering a ruptured appendix.
Nancy Ann was born January 30, 1951, in Sioux City and was a pupil at the Hinton Community School.
Survivors include the parents; two brothers, Arlen and Warren, and a sister, Coleen all at home, and the paternal grandmother, Mrs. Anna Lahrs of Sioux City.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church near Hinton. Rev. Calvin L. Harm will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of the Mauer Funeral Home of Le Mars.

NANCY ANN LAHRS, 8, OF HINTON SUCCUMBS AT SIOUX CITY HOSPITAL
Nancy Ann Lahrs, 8-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Lahrs of route 2, Hinton, died Saturday night at Lutheran hospital, Sioux City, after suffering a ruptured appendix. She had been ill four days, and was hospitalized a day and a half.
Funeral services will be a 2 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church near Hinton. Rev. Calvin L. Harm will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Mauer’s Funeral Home.
Born Jan. 30, 1951, at Sioux City, Nancy Ann was a pupil at the Hinton Community School. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Sunday School.
Surviving are her parents, Wilfred and Leona Schoenrock Lahrs; two brothers and a sister, Arlen, Warren and Colleen, all at home; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Anna Lahrs of Sioux City; seven aunts and uncles and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, M. and Mrs. Charles Schoenrock, and paternal grandfather, Fred G. Lahrs.
