Edna Ida Schoenrock
Edna Ida Schroerock, 53, route 2, Le Mars, died unexpectedly Tues at St. Luke east hospital, Sioux City.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, rural Hinton, with Rev. Donald G. Wuertz officiating.
Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Lincoln Township, under direction of the Mauer Funeral Home, Le Mars. There will be a prayer service Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
The former Edna Ida Kowalke was born July 1, 1916, in Plymouth County, the daughter of Albert and Bertha (Jahn) Kowalke. She married Eldon Schoenrock May 30, 1942, at Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker and lived in Plymouth County her entire life except for a short time at Leeds.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, rural Hinton, and president of the Ladies Aid at the time of her death.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Clarence, Otto, ad Edward and one sister Clara.
Surviving are her husband, Eldon of rural Le Mars; four sons, Jerry of Hinton, Phillip, Curtis and Douglas at home; five brothers, Walter Lorenz of Sioux City, Herman of Kingsley and E. Albert and Arnold of Le Mars, and one sister, Mrs. Eric (Vera) Peterson, Le Mars.
