Eldon H. Schoenrock

Eldon H. Schoenrock, 61, of rural Le Mars died Friday (Jan. 13, 1978) at a Sioux City hospital of long illness.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Trinity Lutheran Church, Lincoln Township rural Hinton. Rev. Arthur Schultz officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery. There was a prayer service at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Mauer Funeral Home, Le Mars.

Mr. Schoenrock was born Sept. 29, 1916, in Lincoln Township. He married Edna Kowalke May 30, 1942, in Lincoln Township. She died Nov. 11, 1969. He married Lydia G. Nannen Dec. 16, 1972, in rural Akron. She died Jan. 23, in Sioux City.

Mr. Schoenrock was a farmer ad a lifelong resident of Lincoln Township in Plymouth County.

Survivors are four sons, Jerry and Douglas, both of rural Hinton, Phillip of rural Le Mars, and Curtis of Sioux City; two step-daughters, Mrs. Marilyn Kreitzinger of Milton, Fla., and Mrs. Malinda Dyer f Adak, Alaska; a brother, Walter of rural Le Mars; three sisters, Mrs. Harold ((Louise) Lang of Le Mars, Ms. Edward (Viola) Lang of Merrill and Mrs. Wilfred (Leona) Lahrs of Hinton; and five grandchildren.
