Note: She is buried in the St. John's Lutheran Preston Township Cemetery which is in the obituary. However, I'm not sure if she has her first married last name of Nannen (from her husband Henry Nannen) or her second married of Schoenrock since she isn't listed.

Mrs. Lydia Regina Schoenrock

Mrs. Lydia Regina Schoenrock, 60, route 2, Le Mars died Thursday, (Jan. 23, 1975) at St. Luke’s Hospital, Sioux City, after a long illness. She had been hospitalized for five days.

Lydia Goltermann was born Feb. 6, 1914, at York Center, Ill., the daughter of Ferdinand and Anna Johnson Goltermann. She came to Plymouth County in 1940, that year she was married to Walter Nannen of rural Akron. He preceded her in death Oct. 30, 1966.

She was married Dec. 16, 1972, to Eldon Schoenrock in Preston Township, rural Akron.

Funeral services were held Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lincoln Township rural Hinton. Rev. Donald Wuerz officiated. Burial was in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Preston Township.

Survivors are her husband, Eldon Schoenrock, Le Mars; two daughters, Mrs. Mark (Marilyn) Kreitzinger, living in Virginia ad Malinda Nannen in California; four step-children, Jerry Schoenrock, rural Hinton; Phillip of Le Mars; Curtis of Sioux City and Douglas of Le Mars; three grandchildren; a brother, Walter Goltermann, Garden Prairie, Ill., and four sisters, Edna Schwieger, Westmont, Ill., Gertrude Goltermann, Richmond, Calif., Alma Schumacker, Pelwood, Ill., and Clara Staffeldt, Chenoa, Ill.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, rural Hinton.
