MRS. FRED SPECKMAN WAS FORMER RESIDENT OF HINTON COMMUNITY

Funeral services for Mrs. Fred Speckman, 80, South Sioux City, were at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Calvary Lutheran church there. Burial was in Trinity Lutheran church cemetery at Hinton. Mrs. Speckman died Thursday, Aug. 3, at a Sioux City hospital after a long illness.

The former Alma Sieloff, she was born Sept. 8, 1886, in Chicago. She was married to Mr. Speckman Jan. 14, 1914, at Joliet, HI. They farmed in the Hinton community from 1914 until 1938, when they retired and moved to Sioux City. Mr. Speckman died in December 1955 at Sioux City. Mrs. Speckman was a resident of South Sioux City for about a year.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Anderson of Allen, Neb., Mrs. Kenneth Anderson of Jackson, and Mrs. M. S. Houchins of North Hollywood, Calif.; two brothers, Max Sieloff of Houston, Mo., and Charles Sieloff of Cazenovia, Wis., and eight grandchildren.
