DEATH OF THOMAS JURGENSON
Thomas C. Jurgenson passed away at the state hospital at Cherokee, Iowa of heart trouble, at 6:50 a.m., Monday, January 9, 1928, at the age of 50 years, 9 months.
He was born April 9, 1877, in Husum County, Germany, and was the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. August L. Jurgensen, of Akron. At the age of six years he came to the United States with his parents.
He leaves to mourn his departure his aged parents, four brothers and two sisters—Henry, Charles, William and Andrew Jurgensen, and Mrs. Max Fredrickson and Mrs. Russell Clark, all of Akron vicinity.
He was baptized at the place of his birth in Germany and was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Akron.
Funeral services were held at the hospital in Cherokee, conducted by Rev. J. J. Bushnell. Interment was in the cemetery at Cherokee.
