Anthony Weidenfeller, 81, Akron died Tuesday (May 15, 1979) at the Akron hospital of a brief illness.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Rev. Stanley Stone officiated. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, under direction of the Schroeder Funeral Home, Akron.

Pallbearers were William Henke, Marvin Siebens, Michael Siebens, Leonard Henke, Alan Siebens and Donald Kapfer.

Mr. Weidenfeller was born Dec. 12, 1898, at Akron. He operated a meat market in Akron for several years. He married Clara Kapfer, April 12, 1926 at Akron. He was a member of the Akron senior citizen group.

Survivors are his wife; a son, Leo of Omaha; two daughters, Mrs. William Henke and Mrs. Marvin Siebens, both of Akron; four sisters, Josie and Clara, both of Akron, Mrs. Hector (Mary) Harnois of Vermillion, S. D., and Mrs. Fritz (Annie) Garvis of Jefferson, S. D., and 14 grandchildren.
