Mary Clara Weidenfeller
Miss Mary Clara Weidenfeller, 65, Akron, died Friday, October 24, 1980, in the Akron Hospital of a long illness.
Services were at 10 a.m. Monday in the St. Patrick Catholic Church. The Rev. Stanley Stone officiated. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery under direction of the Schroeder funeral home. The rosary was recited Sunday at the funeral home by the Catholic Daughters of America and by parishioners.
Pallbearers were John Harnois, Richard Harnois, William Henke, Ted Weidenfeller, Leo Weidenfeller and Marvin Siebens.
Miss Weidenfeller was born Feb. 3, 1915, at Akron. She worked at the Akron Creamery for many years and also for Otis Radio at Hawarden for a brief time.
She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, the St. Joseph Ladies League and the Senior Citizens group.
Survivors include three sisters, Miss Josephine of Akron, Mrs. Clarence (Anna) Garvis of Jefferson, S.D., and Mrs. Hector (Mary) Harnois of Vermillion, S.D.
