Miss Ellen Carel, of Lincoln Township died on Thursday, May 27, at the hospital in Sioux City, where she had been for treatment on account of ill health. The deceased was the sister of Thomas Wm., John, Edward, and Jas. Carel, of Lincoln Township. She was about twenty years of age, and her loveable disposition had won her many friends who will deeply mourn her early death.

The funeral services took place Saturday morning at the Catholic cemetery in Lincoln township ad were very largely attended.

Died at St. Joseph’s Hospital Sioux City after a brief illness Ellen Carol, on Thursday, May 27th.

Her funeral occurred from St. Joseph’s Church, Lincoln Township, Decoration day at 10 A. M. and was very largely attended. Rev. Father O’Reilly, of Kingsley, conducted the services.

The bereaved family have te sincerre sympathy of the community.
