George M. Ahrens
George M. Ahrens, 40, Las Vegas, formerly of Sioux City and Kingsley died on December 27, 1987 in Las Vegas of a heart attack.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 30, 1988, at 11:00 a.m. in the Christy Morningside Funeral Home with the Pastor Hugh Paye officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in the Kingsley Cemetery. The body was cremated.
George Marvin Ahrens Was born on February 24, 1947 to Herbert and Laura (King) Ahrens. He attended Kingsley High School. He was a long distance truck driver, most recently employed by P. S. T. Truckline of Las Vegas.
Mr. Ahrens was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Kingley.
Survivors include two sons, Kie Ahrens (Burns) and Jory Ahrens both of Sioux City; four step-children, Lisa and Kianna Ross of Sioux City, Tom Ross with the U. S. Navy, Charleston, S. C., AND Richard Ross Glendale, Az., sister Mrs. Donald (Arlene) Davis, one niece Carolyn Rodman and one nephew, Kenneth Davis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Colleen Ahrens and a nephew, Neil Davis
