Note: Other family obituaries say the family moved to Plymouth County in 1878 but if she was born in Plymouth County in 1876 they obviously moved there before 1876.
Anna Redmond
Ann Redmond passed away at Sacred Heart Hospital on May 17, 1964 at the age of 88 years, Miss Redmond had been in ailing health for the past several years and had made her home at Sacred Heart Hospital for the past six years.
She was born February 11, 1876, in Plymouth County and had lived here her entire life. She had been a rural school teacher and taught in Plymouth County schools a number of years. Her parents were the late James and Anna Lamb Redmond.
Funeral services will be held at St. James Catholic Church on May 20, 1964 at 9 a.m. with Rev. L. J. La Velle officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under direction of the Luken Funeral Home. The parish rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. The Catholic Daughters of American will recite the rosary at 8:30 p. m. Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. Tuesday evening. She was past Grand Regent of Catholic Daughters.
Miss Redmond had been a member of the Catholic Daughters and St. James Catholic Church.
She is survived by a nephew, James Redmond of Sioux City.
