Death of John Peters

John Peters, one of the oldest residents of Plymouth county, died at the home of his son, Adolph Peters, in Johnson township on Monday at the age of 84 yearn. He had been a resident of this county for the past 23 years and was very highly esteemed by all, and his death causes genuine sorrow where he was known and which will be keenly felt by all.

He leaves three daughters, Mrs. Charles Schultz, Mrs. August Utech and Mrs. Wm. Griffin and three sons.

The funeral will be held this Wednesday afternoon at the late home and the remains will be taken to the Grant township cemetery where they will be interred beside those of his wife who preceded him to the grave several years ago.
