Le Mars Globe-Post, Le Mars, Plymouth, Iowa Monday, January 27, 1969

Mrs. Edo (Nettie Marie) Harms, 90, Sioux City, died Jan. 23 at Ingleside nursing home, Sioux City, after a brief illness.

Funeral services were Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran church, Sioux City, with Rev. Paul Krause officiating. Burial was in Le Mars Memorial cemetery under direction of the Luken-Johnson funeral home in Le Mars.

The former Nettie Schultz, she was born Aug. 23, 1878, at Sterling, 111., the daughter of Carl and Amelia Peters Schultz. She married Mr. Harms July 5, 1899, in Le Mars, where the couple lived on a farm until 1945. They then moved to Sioux City. She lived at the nursing home for the last two years. Mr. Harms died April 4,1959.

Survivors are four sons, George, Charles and Albert, Sioux City, and Fred, North Hollywood, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs. A. J. (Margaret) Bowers and Mrs. Oliver (Millie) Ruhlow, both of Sioux City, Mrs. C. W. (Pearl) Brunstedt, Merrill, and Mrs. Paul (Bertha) Briley, North Hollywood; 17 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren

She was a member of Calvary Lutheran church and ladies aid.
