LONG TIME PERRY RESIDENT DIES
Mrs. Atelia O’Bryan, 77, long time resident of Perry township, died at the home of a son, Richard H. O’Bryan in Sioux City, Thursday night.
Born September 1, 1872, in Adair county, Iowa, she came to Plymouth county many years ago living on a farm in the southeast part of Perry township. She resided here until a short time ago when she went to Sioux City. She was a member of the Alter society of St. Michael’s Catholic church in Leeds.
Mrs. O’Bryan was formerly a resident of Hinton as Mr. O’Bryan was one of the pioneer rural mail carriers here.
She is survived by three sons, Paul of Des Moines, Floyd of Perry township, and Richard; four sisters, Mrs. Virginia Goodman, of Fountain, Colo.; Mrs. Frances Jeffries of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Mrs. Sybil McCord of Denver, Colo.; and Mrs. Anna Barrett of Burbank, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael’s Catholic church in Leeds with Rev. E.L. Schleyer officiating. Burial was in Calvary cemetery.
