John Neyens, 75, of Creighton, Neb., and a former resident of Plymouth county, passed away at his home in Creighton on Thursday, March 25, [1954], following a heart attack.

Mr. Neyens was born March 21, 1879, in Cascade, Iowa, and went to LeMars in 1887. He was married to the former Inez Lyons on Nov. 12, 1903. She preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held at St. Ludger Catholic church in Creighton, on Monday, March 29. Msgr. Joseph B. Falke read the mass. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Survivors include three sons, three daughters, 22 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, three brothers, which includes Jaye Neyens of Hinton, and three sisters.

Attending the funeral from the Hinton area were Mr. and Mrs. Jaye Neyens, Wilbur Neyens, John Ruhland and Virgil Ruhland, Mrs. Mary Klein and Lawrence Klein, Mrs. Christina and Gertrude Ruhland, and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Sitzmann of Sioux City.
