JOHN F. NILLES
RETIRED REMSEN FARMER

Funeral services for John F. Nilles, 78, retired Remsen farmer, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic church there.

Rt. Rev. Msgr. F. P. Schultes will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday at Fisch funeral home, Remsen.

Mr. Nilles died at his home Sunday. He was born June 17, 1887, at Remsen. He married Lena Gengler, May 23, 1911, at Remsen. She died in 1956. Mr. Nilles was a 50-year member of the Catholic Order of Foresters, and a member of the Luxembourg Brotherhood of America.

Survivors are one son, Theodore of Remsen; four daughters, Mrs. Ray Grage of Remsen, Mrs. Lester Bush of Cleghorn, and Mrs. Francis Jaminet and Mrs. Marvin Kohn, both of Cherokee; two brothers, Hubert and Peter, both of Remsen; one sister, Mrs. J. H. Sherlock of LeMars; 37 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
