MRS. MINNIE REITER DIES AT HOSPITAL; SERVICES ARE PLANNED

Mrs. Minnie Reiter, 84, longtime Le Mars resident, died Thursday at Floyd Valley hospital after an illness of several days.

She was born Dec. 25, 1883, in Le Mars. Her marriage to Peter John Reiter took place in Le Mars. She was the former Minnie Hazel.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 9:30 a,m. at St. Joseph Catholic church, Le Mars. Rev. Dean Walker will officiate and burial will be in Calvary cemetery under direction of the Wiltgen-Luedtke funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 pm, Friday. Parish rosary will be recited at 8 pm, at the funeral home. Mrs. Reiter was a member of the Christian Mother's society at St, Joseph's.

Survivors are one son,, Donald, Le Mars; four grandchildren, Darrell, Rock Valley; Mrs. Harley Engeldinger, Sioux City; Jerry, Independence, and Joyce Reiter, Rock Valley; one brother, Joe Hazel, Le Mars; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Weineck, St, Paul, and Mrs. Anna Kearney,Spokane, and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Lawrence.
