Edna, the eight-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Nash, died Saturday after a few hours illness. The little girl was at play in as good health, apparently, as she ever was when she was suddenly stricken with a spasm which resulted in a hemorrhage of the brain and death claimed the little sufferer after medical aid had failed. The funeral services were held Sunday at the M. E. church in Lincoln township conducted by Rev. E. A. Bennett, of Hinton. The remains were followed to the Lincoln cemetery by a large number of sorrowing friends and relatives where interment was made. Mr. and Mrs. Nash have the sympathy of many friends in their sad hour of trouble. Le Mars Sentinel, Tuesday, April 7, 1908, page 2, column 5
