ED. RAISH DIES IN CLEVELAND

Ed. L. Raish, a former Akron resident ande son of John N. Raish, a pioneer lumber dealer here, passed away Sunday, December 31, 1939, at his home in Cleveland, Ohio.

Mr. Raish was a man of fine character and ability and was an instructor in the Cleveland schools for many years. He will be remembered by the older residents here. At the time of his death, his wife was in a Cleveland hospital receiving treatment for a fractured hip, sustained in a fall on snow-covered ice.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter and two sons. A brother, John W. RAish, is secretary of the supreme court of South Dakota at Pierre, and a sister Mrs. Ida McClintock, lives at Tacoma, Wash.
