Frank Schultz was born November 22, 1855, in Germany, and departed this life on October 7, 1937, at the age of 81 years, 10 months and 15 days,

Mr. Schultz's death was due to a heart attack. He was visiting his son, Emil, at Milbank, at the time of his death.

When a small boy, he came to this country with his mother and settled near Sterling, Illinois, where they farmed. He came to the vicinity of LeMars in the early 80's and worked on farms and later engaged in farming and horse breeding.

He was united in marriage to Miss Kate Oltmanns in 1880 and to this union three children were born all of whom preceded him in death. In 1892, he was united in marriage to Minnie Klohs and to this union three children were born: They are Miss Charlotte Schultz, of LeMars; Emil Schultz, Milbank, S.D,; and Mrs. Alfred Doering of Lincoln, Neb. One brother, Robert, of LeMars, also mourns his passing.

The funeral services were held Monday afternoon with Rev. Schempp officiating and burial was made in the city cemetery.

Mr. Schultz was among the early settlers of this community and was widely known in a large circle of old acquaintances. Sympathy is extended to his beloved family who mourn his passing.
