Mr. and Mrs. L. Danne received the sad and startling telegram on Friday afternoon announcing the death of their niece, Mrs. John Baack of Canistota, S.D. Mrs. Baack was well known around here her maiden name being Miss Anna Fisher. She moved with her husband to South Dakota about a week ago after living by Potosia about six years. She had been sick nearly all winter with a slight attack of the grip and about two weeks ago she was much better until Wednesday evening when she took worse and died the following day. She leaves a husband, a nine month old baby girl, parents, and one sister living near Canistota. Her brother died about two years ago. Mr and Mrs L. Danne took the midnight train Friday to attend the funeral when was held the following day.
