INVALID FOR MANY YEARS

Miss Edna Succumbs After Long Suffering

A long martydom of suffering was closed when Miss Edna Amelia Pech, daughter of Mrs. Mary Pech, died at her home on Clarke Street at half past four on Tuesday morning. Miss Pech, died at her home on Clarke Street at half past four on Tuesday morning. Miss Pech had been an invalid for eighteen years and had been confined to her bed for the past year and a half. An attack of pneumonia a week ago proved too much for her confeebled constitution and she passed away.

Edna Amelia Pech was born at Storm Lake, Iowa, on February 21, 1887. In 1890 her parents came to Le Mars which has been the home of the family since.

She leaves to mourn her death her mother. Mrs. Mary Pech, and six sisters and two brothers who are: Miss Dora Pech, Mrs. Will Detloff, Mrs. agnes Berger, Hannah and Mabel, of this vicinity, Mrs. L. M. Fowler, of Oakland, Cal., and George and Clarence Pech, of Le Mars.

The funeral was held yesterday afternoon from the house at half past one, Rev. H. V. Comin, of the First Presbyterian church officiating.
