A FORMER LOCAL RESIDENT DIES
Last Rites Held At Le Mars Monday For Minnie Vanderham
Miss Minnie Vanderham, of Le Mars, a former resident of Akron vicinity, passed away last Friday in a Le Mars hospital, after a serveral weeks' illness, aged 68 years, 10 months and 15 days.
Miss Vanderham was born near Akron, May 4, 1894, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore D. Vanderham, and grew to womanhood here. She became a Le Mars resident in 1952. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran church there.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Emmett McGraw of Le Mars and two brothers, Henry of Akron and Martin of Le Mars.
She was prededed in death by her parents, Theodore D. and Margaret Ann Schuten Vanderham, four brothers and two sisters in infancy.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in St. John Lutheran church, Le Mars, Rev. L. L. Beel; and Rev. Robert Floy officiating. Burial was in Christ Lutheran cemetery in Grant township.
