Sioux City, IowaInsisted On Rising From Sick Bed When Children Are Hurt
Mrs. Hauser, wife of Noah Hauser, formerly a resident of Milnerville in this county, died in a Sioux City hospital, Thursday aged 28 years. Her two little daughters are in critical condition in the same hospital, the result of an accident in which they were injured Sunday when struck by a car on the street.
Mrs. Hauser was ill in bed at the time of the accident but insisted on getting up and going to the hospital to comfort her little daughters. The shock caused a collapse and doctors and nurses began a struggle to keep death from three months of one family. The injured girls were reported improving yesterday.
Mrs. Hauser is survived by two little girls, a son, her husband, three sisters and a brother.
