Note: According to FAG her year of birth is 1887, her first name is Esther, and her maiden name is Moniger.

Died at her home in Westfield township, Plymouth county, Iowa, on Monday, July 29, 1907, Mrs. Esther L. Christenson, aged 19 years, 7 months, and one day, of peurperal eclampsia.

Esther L. Moniger was born in Aurora county, South Dakota, December 28, 1883. When about three years of age her parents moved to Hawarden, Iowa, where she spent her girlhood days, with the exception of a few months sent in her sister's home. She was married to Wm. S. Christenson October 30, 1906, and they immediately went to housekeeping on the farm five miles east of Westfield.

Mrs. Christenson was taken suddenly ill last Wednesday morning. All that skilled physicians and loving hands could do was of no avail, and death came as a release to suffering Monday, at 8:20 p.m. The deceased possessed many traits of Christian character, was quiet, uncomplaining and womanly.

She leaves to mourn her untimely loss, the bereaved husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Moniger, of Hawarden; eight sisters, Mrs. O. V. Moniger, of DeSmet S. D.; Mrs. J. O. Bliss, of Westfield township; Mrs. S. R. Schuyler, of Huron. S. D., and Gertie, Pearl, Hazel, Bernice, and Lavon, all at home.

Mr. and Mrs. Moniger came from Hawarden SAturday and were in constant attendance during their daughter's illness.

Funeral services were conducted at the Congregational church, by Rev. Ratcliffe, of Akron, at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The W. O. W. lodge had charge of the arrangements here and quite a number acompanied the remains to Hawarden, where interment was made.

The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of the entire community inther affliction.

Mrs. Will Christensen died at her home five miles east of Westfield, Monday, July 29, 1907, after a few days illness aged nineteen years and six months.

Funeral services were held here at the Congregational church Tuesday morning at 9:30. Elder Radcliffe, of Akron, conducting the services. The remains were taken to Hawarden for burial.
