Bernadine Ella Rounds, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Rounds, was born on a farm 6 1/2 miles southeast of Chatsworth July 20, 1920, and passed away at Chatsworth April 1, 1941, being but 20 years, 8 months, and 11 days old.
She spent most of her life in Chatsworth and vicinity, attending the rural schools and also the Chatsworth public school. She was united in marriage with Jack Jones and he together with two small girls are left to murn her untimely passing.
After her marriage she lived in the Sheldon vicinity for a time and last summer she lived in Minnesota. In November, the family returned to Chatsowrth.
Besides her husband and two daughters, Virginia Rae and Beverly Jean, she is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Rounds of Chatsworth; one sister and five brothers, Mrs. Henry Burnight and Howard Rounds of Chatsworth; Marvin Rounds of Akron; Raymond and Floyd Rounds of Le Mars, and William Rounds of Manhattan Beach, Calif.
Mrs. Jones possessed a quiet and unassuming personality and her home was her chief interest. Her untimely death is a great loss to her husband and two small children who so sorely needed her tender care. Sincere sympathy is extended to the members of her family in their hour of sorrow.
