Note: Her mother's maiden name is Burke; Gertrude Jean's death certificate says she is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Akron IA.

Gertrude Jean, the baby daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Burris, passed away at their home in Akron, Saturday, January 10, 1925, at 2:30 o'clock, after a few days' illness, at the age of 9 months, 3 weeks and 4 days.

Little Gertrude Jean was born March 15, 1924, and was a bright ray of sunshine in the home from which she will be so sadly missed.
