Mrs. Robert E. Brownlee

Mrs. Robert E. Brownlee, 80, 613 W. Third St., Sioux City, a native Sioux Cityan, died Tuesday, at a Sioux City hospital after an illness of several months.

Mrs. Brownlee, the former Lillian M. Poradek, was born Nov. 23, 1890, in Sioux City. After their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Bownlee farmed in the Hinton-Merrill vicinity.

Mr. Brownlee died Nov. 11, 1954, in Sioux City. The couple's only child, Mrs. John E. Newton, also preceded her mother in death.

Mrs. Brownlee was a member of Whitfield United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Nelson-Berger Northside chapel. Rev. Wallace Stark, pastor of Whitfield United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Park cemetery under direction of the Nelson-Berger Funeral Home.

Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. anne Armstrong and Mrs. Frances Bauerly, both of Sioux City; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
