LE MARS, Iowa | Donna Bock, 84, of Le Mars passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015, at the Good Samaritan Society in Le Mars.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at All Saints Parish-St. James Catholic Church in Le Mars, with the Rev. Paul Eisele and Deacon Paul Gengler officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family will be after 4 p.m. today, with a rosary at 5 p.m. and a Scriptural prayer service at 7 p.m., all at Carlsen-Feuerstein Funeral Home in Le Mars. Visitation will resume 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church.

Donna Belle June was born on Jan. 22, 1931, to Stanley and Ruth (Kemnitz) June, in Pipestone, Minn. She was raised in Merrill, Iowa, and graduated from Merrill High School in 1948.

Donna was united in marriage to Merlin Bock on Feb. 2, 1952, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Sioux City. After Merlin returned from the service, they lived and began farming near Hinton, Iowa. They moved to Merrill and eventually moved to Sheldon, Iowa, where they lived for 33 years until retirement in 1992. Once retired, they moved to a lake home on Lake Fremont, Minn., and also started wintering in Florida and later in Arizona.

Donna enjoyed entertaining and was known for her generous hospitality. She enjoyed playing board games and cards with friends, spending time at the lake, and being a snowbird. She was a gifted cook and shared her talent with all family and friends.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Merlin of Le Mars; four children, Diane (Kent) Easterday of Altoona, Iowa, Larry (Marsha) Bock of Lafayette, La., Lori (Dan) McCabe of Sheldon, Iowa, and Ranee (Loren) Mosterd of Ireton, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Doris Muyskens of Mason City, Iowa, Beverly (Ray) Beherns of Benson, Minn., and LaVon (Jack) Holton of Le Mars; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Bock of Le Mars, LaDonna Bock of Wisconsin, and Catherine June of Le Mars; brother-in-law, Everette Bollmeyer of Hinton, Iowa; and many other relatives.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; son, Douglas Paul Bock in 1982; brothers, Wilmar June and Marlo June; brothers-in-law, Ronald Bock, Ken Muyskens, and Ken Bock; and sisters-in-law, Betty Bollmeyer and Janice June.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
