Mrs. Regine Anderson, one of the early pioneers of Plymouth County, passed away at her home at Merrill today. She was 93 years, plus 7 months and 14 days old at the time of her death.
Rev. L. L. Jacobsen will conduct the servie from the Lutheran Church Wednesday afternoon at 2:30, at Merrill. Wiltgen's Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Anderson leaves 5 children to mourn her passing. They are: Alfred T. Mrs. Emma Karli; Jacob B.; Mrs. Stella Cumihow of Merrill; and Mrs. Rose Tullis of Le Mars; also 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grand-children; and one brother in Norway.
Her husband and one daughter preceded her in death.
Regine Anderson was born on November 25, 1849, in Sogendall Norway. She was the daughter of Tennis and Sophia Didrickson.
She came to Storm Lake in 1881. In February of 1891 she and her family came to Plymouth Co. where she has resided ever since.
Mrs. Anderson was baptized and confirmed in the lutheran faith in her native country before leaving for the United States.
