Poor Health Cause Of Woman's Death
Suffering from prolonged illness Mrs. Agda Anderson wife of Oscar F. Anderson, prominent stock farmer, of Hungerford Township living two miles west of Hinton took her own life Sunday afternoon by hanging herself while other members of the family were away from home.
Coroner S. H. Luken, of Le Mars, was notified of the tragedy and went out to investigate the circumstances. Mrs. Anderson apparently had tied bed sheet around her throat, fastened the other end to a rafter, stood on a box which she pushed from beneath her feet and dangled into space.
Born In Sweden
Mrs. Anderson was a native of Sweden where she was born February 17 1874 and came to the United States in 1905, settling in Chicago. She lived there for five years and in 1910 was married to Mr. Anderson. Soon after their marriage they moved to a farm near Hinton where she resided since.
She leaves her husband, Oscar Anderson a son, Raymond, a student in Iowa State College at Ames and a daughter Eleanor at home.
