Alma Kathryn Berry, 85, of Palm Springs, CA passed away December 15, 2007 in Palm Springs, CA.

She was born November 13, 1922 to George Heyl and Sophia Heyl in Akron, Iowa. She married La Vern Farmer in 1942 in Akron, Iowa. She later married Edward Berry in 1963 in Palm Springs, CA. She was a supervisor for General Telephone for 10 years in Palm Springs, CA. She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her son, Roger L. Farmer and his wife, Patricia A. Farmer of Parker, AZ; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, La Vern Farmer; her second husband, Edward Berry; son Larry Farmer; grandsons, Larry Farmer Jr. and Roger L. Farmer Jr.

Memorial service will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, January 4, 2008 at Wiefels Mortuary, Palm Springs, CA. Burial to follow at Palm Springs Memorial Cemetery with Wiefels in charge of arrangements.

The family suggests memorials to City of Hope Cancer Center in Los Angeles, CA. .
