Max Frederickson

Max M. Frederickson, 70, long time resident at Akron died Friday at a hospital after a long illness.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday at Emmanual Lutheran church here. Rev. David Roy was officiated. Burial was in Riverside cemetery at Akron.

Mr Frederickson was born April 19, 1893 at Schleswig Losgein, Germany and came to the United States at the age of 8. He married Anna Jurgensen on June 19, 1908, at Elk Point S.D. and they farmed in the Akron area until moving into town in 1930.

Survivors include the widow, two daughters, Mrs. L. Dimmick of Akron and Mrs L. McCormick of Los Angeles; three sons Carroll of Sioux City, Luvern of Westfield, Ia,, and Ray of Huntington Park Calif., four sisters, Mrs Maggie Anderson of Hawarden Ia., Mrs Christeine Ellis of Minneapolis, Mrs Paulina Elroy of Aurora Colo., and Mrs Anna Eden of Akron 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

The body was taken to the Lewison funeral home at Akron
