Elmer Richardson, 78, rural Kingsley, died Mary 18, 1975 in a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Lutheran church, Kingsley with Rev. Walter Resner, officiating. Burial will be in Kingsley Cemetery with the Dickinson Michaelson funeral home, Kingsley, in charge.
Mr. Richardson was born March 25, 1897, in Hawarden. He married Nora Tokelson (Torkelson) Dec. 18, 1929, in Hudson, S.D. They farmed near Hawarden, Inwood and Kingsley.
He was a member of the First Lutheran church.
Survivors are his wife; three sons, Kent and Glenn, both of Sioux City, and Bruce of Kingsley; three sisters, Mrs. Frank (Amanda) Evans of Hastings, Neb., Mrs. Orville (Myrtle) Squier of Tacoma, Wash. and Mrs, Estell (Beatrice) Parry of Mesa, Ariz.; four brothers, Joe of Elk Point, S.D., Ben of Ogilvie, Minn., Curtis of Ireton and Russell of Brookings, S.D.; 12 grandchildren; and a nephew, whom they raised, Jim Torkelson of Pipestone, Minn.
