[Date of death: Saturday, Aug. 11, 1951]IN MEMORY OF MRS. WILLIAM REEVES
(Written by one of her daughters)
Mother, farewell, your work is done.
Your race was surely fully run;
You lived those three score years and ten,
And what a wonderful mother you’ve been.Thank you, God, for a mother so grand,
Who ever worked with untiring hand
For home and children, her castle was
And bound all together with chords of love.That place is vacant in our home
Twill be so lonely when we thither come.
But God has called, the summons came,
His angel whispered our mother’s name.Oh, help us Father – our sad hearts pine;
May we resolve to improve the time,
Living a life of faith and prayer,
Then meet our loved one over there.
