Mrs. David Blair Died Last Week In Sioux City

Mrs. Annie Blair, long time Plymouth county resident, died at her home in Morningside last Tuesday (March 19, 1946), after a long illness. Mr. and Mrs. Blair lived on a farm north of Kingsley for many years, and moved to Sioux City in 1915.

She was born April 8, 1865, in Scotland. She came to America in 1886 and first resided in Le Mars. She was married to David Blair 54 years ago. He died in March, 1945.

Surviving are two sons, Milton and Midral, both of Sioux City; four daughters, Mrs. Rose Jacobson. Mrs. Ithe Doran and Mrs. Davina M. Chase, all of Sioux City, and Mrs. Lillian Ruhd of Brandt, S.D.; four brothers, Laughlan Milton of Sioux City, George Milton of Oklahoma, and William and James Milton of Palouse, Wash.; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday at Anderson's funeral home. Rev. Theodore G. Lillie, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, officiating. Burial was in Union cemetery near Kingsley.
