Gustav Adolph Lang passed away Sunday (January 18, 1948) afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Pashan, in Lincoln township, following an illness of several weeks. He was born on January 17, 1874, near Sioux City, and came to Lincoln township with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Lang, when a small boy and has lived in Lincoln township his entire life. He was married to Josephine Wetrosky in Lincoln township on September 14, 1897. To this union were born two daughters, Mrs., Fred Pashan, Le Mars, and Mrs. Earl Pendleton of Ida Grove; two sons, Christ of Hinton, Walter of Le Mars. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also two brothers, Herman and Fred of Le Mars.
Funeral services will be held at Lincoln township Lutheran church Wednesday at 2 p. m., Rev. H. D. Stahmer officiating. Burial will be in Lincoln township cemetery beside his wife, who preceded him in death July 30, 1947. Arrangements are under direction of Luken's Funeral Home.
